Today EA Games has released patches for both Battlefield Vietnam and Battlefield 1942, due to a critical security bug encountered in these games.

This means also that the version detection system of the Infantry Mod will alert you that you are not running the correct version of Battlefield 1942. As the update only has impact on some internal issues of the Battlefield engine, I assume that there will be no compatibility issues between the Infantry Mod 1.21 and Battlefield 1.61.

Furthermore I would like to announce the upcoming release of both the Infantry Mod 1.3, with improved versions of current maps, and perhaps a new one, and Infantry Mod Vietnam. I currently have two maps for that, and I could use some more. Please send your Battlefield Vietnam Infantry Maps to vietnam@infantrymod.com
